Winter Study 6879

Winter Study 2024

November 8 – November 12

  • Here is the list of Winter Study course offerings.

Some students have already been enrolled in a Winter Study course by the Registrar's Office. Check your schedule and the exceptions below to determine if you need to register.

This first Winter Study registration period is a course preference process—it does not guarantee you a seat in the course you select.

After registration ends you may be dropped from any course that over-enrolls (see "enrollment preferences" in the catalog). Have alternative course options in mind if you are dropped.

Williams Student Records will be open from:

    Wednesday, November 8 @ 7:00 pm - Sunday, November 12 @ 11:59 pm

    Coming Up...

After registration ends and instructors review enrollments, students will:

    • be notified if dropped from a course, and
    • have a second chance to register on a first come, first served basis during the final round registration period.

If you were not dropped from a course, you are expected to complete the course you are enrolled in—course changes are not allowed.

November 27 – November 30

  • Here is the list of Winter Study course offerings.

Williams Student Records will be open to students who are not currently enrolled in a Winter Study course:

    Monday, November 27 @ 7:00 pm - Thursday, November 30 @ 11:59 pm

At this point, any open spots in courses are available on a first come, first served basis—register early for the best selection.

Students who have not registered by the deadline will be randomly assigned to a course with available space.

Once this registration period has concluded, all students are expected to complete the course they are enrolled in—course changes are not allowed.

January 3

  • Students are expected to complete the course they are enrolled in—there is no "drop/add" period.

Plan travel accordingly, students are required to attend their first course meeting (check schedule).

Instructors have the right to drop students who do not attend the first meeting of a Winter Study course. If you encounter travel problems or other emergencies that prevent you attending the first meeting, please contact the instructor.

Here are class days, times, and room assignments. Instructors will provide any additional schedule information during the first meeting.

Meeting times for travel or TBA courses should be arranged with the instructor.
